I once heard a story, that the guide was useful during World War II. The story I heard was that Michelin restaurants were targetted, but apparently the real story (according to the Michelin website) is that the guide was used as a map for the Allies as they landed in Normandy.
Okay, so, too late for that. Hopefully, it won’t need to be used for another war. But, Ziua de Cluj reports that three local hotels will be listed in the guide.

The only one of these that really catches the eye is the Radisson Blu. Yes, that is how you spell it.
Radisson Blu is by the “Central Park” and Cluj BT Arena. Central Park is not that central, it should be called North West Park. But, the park is big enough to take a job. It holds a small lake and on the opposite end of the Park you have the Hungarian theatre, and in the park there is the so called “Casino” which has exhibitis and events. I guess if you were coming to Cluj to see a sports event, and you like the idea of staying at a Michelin hotel, it might be your choice.
The Elania Resort and spa is south of Cluj, more like the Wonderland resort. I don’t count it as Cluj, anyway. Not in walking distance to anything. If you want a more secluded spot, and you’re renting a car, and you don’t want to stay in Turda or something, then maybe.
Vibre Hotel is much closer to the center. It is surrounded by a residential neighbourhood, with things like bakeries and small corner shops nearby. I think I entered it once for an event. Nobody got hurt and nothing got broken, everything seemed to go to plan.
They all look like hotels from the outside.
