We’ve heard conflicting reports about whether it is “worth” recycling trash. Many years ago, our competitors in Cluj, XYZ Cluj, photographed trucks putting all the trash and recycled materials into one tank, without separation.
Well, our recent associate informs us that this information is out of date. Since then, the city has hired new contractors to collect the trash. And, even if some forms might not be recycled everywhere, we did witness a separation of trash at pickup here close to the center of town.
Was this tedious process just for show? Well, it shows one thing. At the pick up stage, not all trash is thrown together. Those that say it is are relying on outdated information.
Things are improving in many areas of waste disposal and recycling.
